Monitor your Alcohol Intake through Tech Clothes

Drank too much and now throwing up everywhere like a grass sprinkler? Do you wish you hadn't drank that much in the first place or had a friend to warn you? Have you had sharpie drawn on your face and blasted all over social media platforms in all sizes and shapes?
Maybe it was funny the first time...
Well before any of you ever get to that point again let your clothes do the talking. What do I mean? There is a new tactic developed by South Korean artists (Younghui Kim, Sanghwa Hong, Kyungmee Kim, and Kwanu Park) and they invented a smart prototype clothing line called Metamorphosis. These prototypes come in two wearable forms that express different levels of alcohol as consumption increases:

The Female Dress

-Kinetic movement
-Shoulders lift and deflate
-Change color

The Male Jacket
-Sensors in collar
-Collar lifts to the face

Both of these prototypes use a combination of alcohol sensors, led lights and miniature motors to activate the clothing. These smart clothes display art, beauty, and culture while mixing in technology to conduct a useful purpose. I believe that these prototypes are the start of the world of wearable techwear. Our culture will shift to making our clothes have more of a purpose other than preventing us from being naked. I think the trend is heading in that direction and more people will want to join in to the wearable techwear market because it will make a more convenient and accessible lifestyle so we can do more things that we love than worry about the small hassles in life. The only subject I will criticize on these smart clothes is there style. I think if these prototypes want to be successful they should adopt western culture when coming up with their next series.

What do you think of these smart wearables?

How will this shape our culture?

Feel free to let me know what you think! @DameofTechWear
